I am home.
In my house home.
Not in a hotel or on the bus home.
And of course I can not wait to leave again.

Flying back home to NYC in a few hours.
Still in San Francisco at the Palomar hotel.
This place is nice. We have stayed here before.
We will hopefully stay here again.
I am super tired at the moment. Last night was long and late.
OK time to check out.

The past 2 weeks of the tour i have ended the night outside in front of the production busses. A tribal drum circle someone called it. Just a bunch of people smoking weed after a long day at work. The same as the person who goes to a bar after the work day ends. Only in this case we are in a parking lot of an amphitheater and everyone is either a sound or lighting person. And we see each 5 days a week at work. It is all the same thing. All good. Work is over so now we can chill.
That is usually the best part of the day. The good ending.
The end is tomorrow.
Last show of the Curiosa tour.
Today was the last outdoor show. SBC park in San Francisco.
A baseball stadium. The SF Giants play there. Today 8 bands played on 2 stages.
The main stage was the usual 2 hang per side V-Dosc/DV-Dosc rig. Subs were ground stacked today. The last 2 weeks or so the subs have been flown 8 high with 4 or 6 more ground stacked per side. It sounded a lot better than i thought it was going to. No real complaints. I had a good show. Tomorrow we are indoors for the last and final show of the tour. An interesting way to end it.
I fly home the day after that. 10 days off back home and the off to UK/Europe for 2 weeks or so of promo shows. It should be interesting and fun to play some small clubs again. Especially since they will all be sold out. After that it is 5 weeks out in the US. That is going to be the tour that we all have to come out swinging. The crew is actively looking forward to it and production decisions are being finalized now. Looks like we will have some gear on this tour finally. I wont believe it till i see it.
