The US leg of the tour is over and I am now in London. The band performed on the Jools Holland tv show and we now have 2 days off before the first European show in Paris. After that it is the usual bouncing all over the UK/Europe till December 20th. The one exception to that is when we fly back to the US to do some radio station holiday shows. Nothing like flying from Germany to Los Angeles and then back a few days later. My only concern is that I fly American so I can rack up some more miles. Not that I am planning on going anyplace outside of work in the near future.

My days of a Yamaha PM5DRH are over for the moment. I will be taking out a Midas Heritage 3000 and a few racks of outboard gear on this leg of the tour. I was told that the PM5D would have blown the budget. There is certainly nothing wrong with an H3K, but I am sold on the PM5D. That is my desk of choice. Firehouse supplied our production in the USA and Perfect Beat will be supplying gear for us in the UK/Europe. Firehouse Bob is the man and he will be missed, but Perfect Beat Stuart is a good guy and this leg of the tour should run as smoothly as the previous.
